About the Marcellus Rotary Club

Marcellus, Michigan, United States
First of all we would like to thank you for your past support of the Marcellus Rotary Club either through your generous donations or attendance to our fund raisers. Through your support the Marcellus Rotary Club has helped our local schools with building improvements, special equipment, scholarships, and financial aid for special needs. Locally we assisted in bringing the first Habitat for Humanity home to Marcellus. Internationally we have been part of Rotary International's drive to eradicate polio, provide clean drinking water to underdeveloped countries and train young leaders in understanding other cultures. Join us on Monday evenings at 6:00 pm for dinner at Porkshop's Diner on Main Street in Marcellus.

Fund raiser at the food pantry July 12, 2010

Spotlight 7 12 2010
Last Saturday Rotarians mixed with Lions and held a fund raiser by serving Brats and steaming sweet corn on the cob in front of the Marcellus Food Pantry. Over $500 was raised for the pantry. Lion members Jerry Casswell had the steamer and grill; he was assisted by fellow Lion Jack Colburn. Rotarian President Dick Meek served corn with his wife Marilyn waving signs, Al Churchill, Andy Abrams and Ralph Parker unloaded donations and stocked shelves, Jim Hosbein served up the Brats. Tammy Churchill was in charge of promotion and worked as a swing man. Thanks to you Marcellus, for your support
